We see it as an important task to spread the idea of collaboration between companies and associations. For us, it's about creating a good framework so that voluntary social work can be strengthened - for the benefit and enjoyment of the vulnerable and disadvantaged citizens of Odense.
When collaborating across associations and companies, there are very different languages, working methods, expectations and values. We help with the preparation, aligning expectations and ensuring that the collaboration is meaningful for all parties involved.
"When we are involved as a partner, the coordination responsibility and time spent by both the association and the company is reduced. At the same time, we help to qualify and quality stamp the collaboration. We strive to make it easy for associations and companies to collaborate with each other."

At the Volunteer Center
is Odense is bridge building a central task. The bridge-building takes place across both associations/civil society, business and the public sector - for the benefit of the city's vulnerable and at-risk citizens. We believe this bridge-building work gives us a favorable position when it comes to coming together for sustainable development. That is why SDG 17: Partnerships for action, one of the SDGs we very directly support.
We establish and support partnerships for action across sectors, but especially across actors within one sector - civil society. This is done through our targeted work to establish cooperation and networks between associations. This allows for the exchange and sharing of experiences, ideas and knowledge as well as the establishment of joint projects and initiatives. In this way, the associations can pull together and contribute to sustainable development.
