The purpose of the volunteer center
Volunteer Center Odense aims to support, develop and promote voluntary social work in Odense.
We mobilize volunteers, raise the visibility of voluntary social work and provide consultancy to voluntary social associations and projects.
We bring together relevant actors to create dialog, exchange of experience, collaboration and new initiatives.
Volunteer Center Odense provides consultancy support to associations and volunteer interviews to citizens who want to take part in voluntary work. In addition, the center acts as a link between different actors in the local civil society, and regularly hosts events with the aim of promoting voluntary social work in Odense.
Volunteer Center Odense has premises in the new Borgernes hus, where we live side by side with some of the most important players in the volunteer field in Odense, and have the opportunity to make modern and versatile premises available to the associations free of charge.
