Baba is a social initiative that brings fathers' resources into play, so that they can support other fathers in becoming even more involved in their children's lives. Through a learning process, Baba creates change in fathers and strengthens their relationship with the family. Many fathers with a minority background experience that they are outside the family, and through Baba they receive support to become more active fathers who participate in their children's lives and who can also be role models during their upbringing.

Baba strengthens the family's interaction with the municipality, the kindergarten, the school and the rest of the surrounding community for the benefit of a good upbringing for the children. The fathers in Baba become volunteer bridge builders in disadvantaged residential areas. They build strong communities of fathers who collaborate with other local actors to make a difference for the fathers and families - for the benefit of the children.
